Hello there!
A year and a half ago, I got my very first school counseling job at a K-8 Charter School.
As I stumbled around the web looking for ideas and advice, I found very few resources to begin with.
With some inspiration from school counselors across the web, I began this blog as a way of collaborating and becoming another helping hand in the search for ideas and inspiration. I wanted to blog my journey as a school counselor and share what I am learning with others. A knife can't sharpen itself all by itself! It needs a block to help maintain its pointed tip and its usefulness. My block is YOU- the community of awesome school counselors, and just as you sharpen me, I hope to do the same for you.
Thankfully, there are so many other school counselors around the nation who have done the very same thing. Now the few has turned into many.
