A lot of what I do during the day is mediate between students who are having a disagreement. These students need a neutral person who will allow them the space and the freedom to have a conversation with each other.
Of course, something I do A LOT with them is have them use "I messages." I find that I have to write down what this is for them quite frequently, so I was looking for something that would save some time.

While looking for this element to add to my office, I also stumbled upon these great double sided word strips at the Target dollar spot! Each package came with four, and have two sentence lines each side.It is perfect for my younger students who come in, and they are dry erase, which will save me a lot of paper.
So here is the entire thing put together! I really loved this alternative wording for "I messages" that I saw on pinterest. I think that it is more solution focused. I also plan on making another one for the response- active listening.
