Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Okay, so there is no chicken dinner involved for you...although I had a delish chicken dinner covered in white gravy at Texas Roadhouse last night. So. good. Not to mention hot, fresh bread rolls from the oven, spread in Cinnamon butter. If that isn't self-care, I don't know what is.

Anyways, if you can continue reading despite the anticipated drool dripping down your mouth- I would like to announce the winner of the SCAATAP giveaway. Congratulations...

Angela Guy

I will be emailing you to get all of your details!

Also, it has been a busy week... as you can tell from the lack of posting. I think Summer Fever has hit the school and we officially have nine weeks left. Hard to believe! In the meantime, here is my "currently"....

1) I have been leaving work really late (although I guess I always do this...). Landsharks, our running club for K-6 has started and so I will be coaching 4th, 5th, and 6th graders every Tuesday and Thursday. I love this program because it teaches that, "every finisher is a winner". It is such a breath of fresh air in our competitive society AND such a boost for kids. Sometimes I have a hard time leaving work, even after coaching for an hour. I always have things to do. Not that this is bad thing! Husband is very good at keeping me accountable...he is the best self-care partner a lady could have.

2) The Scholastic Book Fair was at our library this week and I received a copy of this awesome book called Manners Mash-Up: A Goofy Guide to Good Behavior. It is a compilation of various artists illustrating the manners for every situation.. in the cafeteria, on a field trip, in the classroom, etc. The artwork is enchanting and inspiring. I can't wait to use it for small groups and at the beginning of the year!

3) I moved my office around AGAIN. My co-workers gave me a hard time for this as it is the third time  this year. I have to tell you that I am very pleased with my new arrangement. I now have a somewhat visible boundary to separate my desk from the therapeutic area. It actually seems like I have more room! With this new arrangement, I have so many ideas to spruce up the place. Don't worry, when I am done I will be giving a virtual tour!

4) I have been in the long and somewhat frustrating process of receiving my Initial Special Services License. After some weird mistakes (theirs, not mine!) I have finally been approved. Yay!!
Next on the agenda- my LPC..eeek!

I hope that all of you have an amazing weekend!
